Through examples and common scenarios, participants will explore the differences between occupancy groups, mixed occupancies, accessory occupancies, incidental uses, and situations where the correct classification may not be immediately obvious. The webinar also highlights common mistakes, gray areas, and key code considerations that impact plan review, permitting, and inspections. This webinar is intended for building department personnel involved in or seeking a greater understanding of occupancy classification.
